Curiosity, mostly. A plan, occasionally.

I'm Midnight — a student who somehow ended up building software, taking photographs, and modeling little 3D worlds, all while getting ready for one very large exam. None of it was really planned. I just kept following the things that made me curious, and it turned into a whole way of living.

School, and the exam everyone talks about

I studied at Allameh Helli High School in Tehran, a place that pushed me to take ideas seriously long before I knew what to do with them. These days I'm deep in preparation for the Konkur, Iran's university entrance exam — and honestly, I've started treating it less like a wall in my way and more like a big, well-defined puzzle with a deadline. It's intense, sure, but I like problems with clear rules and a finish line. This one just happens to come with practice tests.

Grades have never been the thing that pulled me forward — curiosity has always pulled harder. I learn best by actually building something: a script that automates something annoying, a tiny website, a model that finally trains without exploding. If a concept survives contact with a real project, I know I actually understand it.

Code, and the practical kind

My programming home base is Python, with regular trips into C++ when I want to understand what's happening closer to the metal, and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS whenever an idea needs a face people can actually click on. On the backend I build with Django, and on the frontend I genuinely enjoy writing plain HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript — no frameworks required to make something feel alive.

I spend most of my working hours inside Linux, and a growing amount of them inside machine learning and AI experiments — running local models, fine-tuning small things, and figuring out how to make language models genuinely useful rather than just impressive. I'd rather ship something small that actually works than write another toy example that only proves a concept. Practical beats pretty, most days.

Turning ideas into objects

When I want to think in three dimensions instead of lines of code, I open Blender or SOLIDWORKS. I'm not chasing a portfolio of polished renders — I just like the process of taking something that only exists in my head and giving it a shape, whether that shape stays digital or eventually becomes something I can hold. There's something satisfying about designing a part, checking it actually fits together, and knowing it could exist outside a screen if I wanted it to.
