🌙 currently awake, as usual

Hi, I'm Midnight.

I spend my days teaching computers new tricks, my evenings arguing with a terminal that lives inside a Linux box I'm far too attached to, and my nights convinced that one more idea before bed is always a good idea. I take photos with cameras older than some of my code, model little worlds in Blender, train models that occasionally do what I ask, and build things mostly because I can't help it. Somewhere between a keyboard, a camera, and a sketchy 3am hypothesis, that's me — probably a little too curious for my own good, and completely at peace with that.

the short version

A handful of hats, worn at the same time

None of these are side projects from each other — they all feed the same curiosity.

Programmer

Teaching computers new tricks in Python, C++, and JavaScript — then trying to make them actually useful.

Photographer

Hunting for light with a Fujifilm that's older than my coding career, and loving every second of it.

AI tinkerer

Running local models, poking at machine learning, and enjoying the moments things almost make sense.

3D maker

Turning ideas into objects in Blender and SOLIDWORKS — digital first, sometimes physical too.

Linux devotee

My terminal is basically a second home. I visit Windows sometimes, mostly out of politeness.

Student, mostly

Currently getting ready for the Konkur — and yes, still finding time to build things anyway.

proof I'm a little unusual

Fun facts, gathered at odd hours

🛰

Homemade star tracker

Built one from spare parts because buying one felt like cheating.

🐧

Linux feels like home

Windows is where I visit. Linux is where I live.

🤖

Teaching computers to think

With mixed, occasionally alarming, results.

Old cameras deserve adventures

Mine has seen more sunrises than I have.

🌙

Night is prime idea time

Most of my best (and worst) ideas arrive after midnight. Fitting, really.

Runs on tea and stubbornness

A dangerous combination for debugging at 2am.

Curious what I've actually been building?

From a Persian AI assistant to a homemade OpenAI-compatible server, the projects page has the receipts.
